Last updated: March 23, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Andaza ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Andaza app.
Account Information When you sign up, we collect your phone number to verify your identity via SMS one-time passcode. We may also collect your name if you choose to provide it.
Recipe Content We collect recipe text, photos, and images you add to the app. When you photograph or upload a recipe, that image is transmitted to OpenAI's API to extract and structure its contents. Please see OpenAI's privacy policy for how they handle data sent to their services.
Cook Photos When you share a recipe with others, photos you add to a shared recipe are stored on our servers and are visible to all collaborators on that recipe.
Sharing Activity When you share a recipe with another person via SMS, we store the recipient's phone number and send them an invitation message through Twilio, our SMS service provider.
Usage & Session Data We collect standard server-side session data including IP address and device/browser information to manage your login session.
